Henry Brass Lever Action Side Gate Polished Hardened Brass Lever Action Rifle - 30-30 Winchester - 20in - From the hills of Appalachia, to the Texas hill country, and in every deer camp and lodge in between, the .30-30 remains the perennial choice of whitetail hunters. More than just another deer cartridge, the venerable .30-30 has been the king of deer calibers since its introduction as a sporting cartridge in 1984. In fact, it's a safe bet that in the past century, no other cartridge has put more antlers on the wall and meat in the freezer than the time-honored .30-30. Like every Henry rifle, the Brass Lever Action .30-30 Side Gate is 100% American-made, carrying on the nation's tradition of fine lever action gunsmithing. The H009BG's signature hardened brass receiver sports a side loading gate, allowing you to top off the five-round tubular magazine without dropping the rifle from your shoulder. It also retains the traditional removal magazine tube, allowing for safe and easy reloads after a successful day in the field. With both loading options at your disposal, you'll always find your rifle at the ready and your sights on the fur. A classic semi-buckhorn rear sight and brass bead front sight sit atop the visually striking 20in blued steel octagon barrel, accompanied by a straight grip genuine American walnut stock and forearm and a polished brass barrel band. Like all Henry lever actions, the slick, finely machined action inspires confidence in the field, making quick follow-up shots effortless. If you're an outdoorsman looking to step back into the golden era of deer hunting, or forging a new tradition of your very own, look no further than the Henry Brass Lever Action .30-30 Side Gate.
