What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying:"I've put the Nimbus 2 on everything from flat-bar commuters to hybrid builds, and it's one of my favorite budget slicks. They roll fast, corner better than expected, and shrug off thorns with Flak Jacket protection. Just a solid tire all around."For commuting, fitness laps, or weekend cruisers, the Nimbus 2 Tire brings smooth speed and surprising grip to pavement and path alike. We count on it when comfort, confidence, and low rolling resistance matter most. Specialized updated the compound and tread design to give the Nimbus 2 a faster roll and better bite in corners-without sacrificing durability. The 60a compound delivers high mileage while keeping road feel responsive. Meanwhile, Flak Jacket protection keeps common flats at bay, so we can stay focused on the ride, not tire pressure.
