What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying: "I've been riding this caliper on my enduro bike and I can honestly say the power is unreal. I noticed the consistent feel right away-rain, heat, long descents, it stays dialed. Plus, it's dead quiet thanks to the anti-rattle updates. Pair it with Shimano rotors and the feel is unbeatable." We ride hard and fast, and we expect our brakes to keep up. The Shimano DEORE XT 4-Piston Caliper BR-M8220 gives us that unshakable confidence when lines get rowdy and terrain gets steep. It's the strongest brake in Shimano's M8200 series, fine-tuned to provide ultimate consistency and control in any trail condition. With a two-piece construction, refined pad design, and low-viscosity fluid, the M8220 delivers smooth, predictable braking performance every time we grab the lever. Whether we're chasing race stages or racking up laps on big descents, this caliper ensures we ride with confidence and silence.
