What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying: "The Detect S Mitt is one of the warmest I've ever worn. The finger channels inside give me more control than a traditional mitt, and I love the heat pocket for those brutally cold days. The double gauntlet seals everything out-these things are bombproof." When the temps drop and the storm rolls in, we count on the LEKI Detect S Mitt to keep our hands warm, dry, and in control. These mittens offer the full coverage and cozy warmth of an expedition glove with a clean silhouette made for the resort. Packed with Primaloft insulation and protected by a SOFT-TEX waterproof membrane, they lock in heat while sealing out snow, wind, and wet. Inside, glove-style finger channels increase dexterity and wick moisture between the fingers for better temperature control. A zippered heat pocket lets us drop in hand warmers when conditions get extreme, and a double-layer gauntlet design keeps powder out with a snug, secure seal. From deep storm days to bluebird groomer laps, these mittens are made for the long haul.
