What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying: "I've taken the Recon Stretch Ski Pants on deep backcountry tours and stormy resort laps-they're bomber. The 4-way stretch is great for skinning, and the BD. dry fabric really holds up in harsh, wet snow." We count on the Black Diamond Recon Stretch Ski Pant when we're chasing powder deep into the backcountry or navigating icy terrain at altitude. Built with BD. dry(TM) 3L waterproof protection and a durable stretch-woven construction, these pants give us the freedom to move naturally while keeping us dry during whiteout descents and long, sweaty climbs. Thoughtful features like offset side vents, articulated knees, and a gusseted seat help us manage airflow and stay comfortable through long days on the skintrack. With reinforced instep patches for durability, a high-mounted snow gaiter for deep days, and an integrated RECCO reflector for added safety, the Recon is designed to meet the demands of technical alpine missions without compromising comfort.
