The Cold Steel CS-17T, also known as the Kobun, is an impressively lightweight knife. Drawing its name from the clandestine Japanese underworld where \"Kobun\" is often a term signifying rank, it characteristically stands as \"a good soldier\". This knife has proven to be extremely popular within the Military circles due to its discreet profile, light weight, resilience, and cutting capability. The Kobun showcases the iconic \"American Tanto\" point from Cold Steel - a design that enhances its resistance against bending or breaking. This is made possible by the full thickness of the blade\'s spine which reaches almost the blade\'s tip. Despite its sleek profile, Kobun is equipped with a deeply checkered Kray-Ex handle. This uniquely contoured handle ensures maximum grip, preventing any rotation or shift within the user\'s hand.
