The 24 inch field crowned barrel carries an updated 1:8 twist rate a significant jump from the original s 1:14 twist that now allows the rifle to stabilize heavier bullets such as an 80.5 grain Berger FBT. Threaded 1/2x28 the barrel accepts a muzzle brake or suppressor for reduced recoil during extended varmint hunting sessions. The TriggerTech Field trigger delivers a clean consistent break and the receiver is drilled and tapped for scope mounting. The classic Monte Carlo stock is finished in high gloss AA walnut with fine diamond point checkering a rosewood forend and grip cap and maple spacers that give the rifle a timeless refined look. A high gloss blued finish on both the barrel and receiver matches the stock s polished aesthetic while protecting the metal from the elements.
