Mossberg Patriot Features The Mossberg Patriot pairs a 22 fluted barrel with a 1:14 twist rate tuned for the flat shooting .22-250 Rem cartridge a favorite among varmint and predator hunters who need speed and accuracy at extended range. The fluting reduces barrel weight without sacrificing rigidity helping the rifle stay steady during long stalks or extended shooting sessions. A threaded muzzle at 5/8x24 lets shooters add a muzzle brake or suppressor for reduced recoil and noise management. The spiral fluted bolt and checkered bolt handle round out a barreled action built for smooth reliable cycling shot after shot. The user adjustable LBA trigger lets shooters dial in a pull weight anywhere from 1.5 to 7 lbs giving each shooter the ability to fine tune the trigger to their preference for a cleaner break. A classic walnut stock gives the Patriot traditional styling while the stainless Cerakote metal finish protects against rust and wear in harsh field conditions. The rifle ships drilled and tapped with a factory installed Weaver style base so mounting a scope is straightforward for hunters who want quick target acquisition. With a 5-round detachable magazine and a two position thumb safety the Mossberg Patriot in .22-250 Rem is available for sale at GrabAGun for hunters chasing varmints across open country.
