Maxim Defense Industries PDX SD Features The Maxim Defense PDX SD is built around a suppressor specifically engineered for this platform using a shorter larger diameter M-Kore design to keep the overall package ultra compact while remaining hearing safe with full power 5.56 NATO cartridges. Unlike generic suppressor solutions this PDX specific can has no barrel length restrictions giving Maxim the freedom to optimize the 5.5 inch barrel for this exact firearm. Integrated carbon cutters simplify maintenance and the suppressor is fully user serviceable disassembling quickly with common tools rather than requiring a trip back to the factory. By reducing gas blowback and minimizing cyclic rate increases the suppressor also improves the firearm s overall reliability and extends its service life compared to running an aftermarket can on an unoptimized host. The pistol s aluminum receiver features a Picatinny rail for optics or accessory mounting while an M-Slot handguard provides attachment points for lights grips or additional rail sections. A 20+1 capacity gives the shooter ample firepower in a genuinely small package and the polymer Maxim CQB brace provides a stable shooting platform without the length of a traditional stock. Finished throughout in Arid Brown from the barrel to the anodized receiver to the brace and grip the PDX SD presents a cohesive field ready appearance suited to a range of environments.
