Steyr Arms ATD Compact Features The Steyr Arms ATD Compact features an optic-ready slide that accepts a red dot sight directly giving shooters faster target transitions and improved accuracy over iron sights alone. This is a meaningful upgrade for shooters moving toward red dot equipped carry and competition pistols since it eliminates the need for aftermarket slide milling. The 4 inch barrel offers a solid balance between a longer sight radius for accuracy and a compact enough package for daily carry. Adjustable sights back up the optic-ready slide giving shooters a reliable backup sighting system if the optic ever fails. A durable black polymer frame keeps the ATD Compact lightweight and easy to carry throughout the day while the black finished slide gives the pistol a clean understated look. The semi-auto action cycles smoothly and the pistol s 18-round magazine capacity gives shooters a substantial ammunition reserve compared to many compact 9mm pistols. At just 21 ounces the ATD Compact stays comfortable for extended carry without feeling like a burden. For shooters wanting a modern optics-ready 9mm pistol with generous capacity the Steyr Arms ATD Compact delivers a well-rounded package.
