Steyr Arms Scout MK II Features The Steyr Arms Scout MK II is chambered in .308 Win and built around a 19 fluted threaded barrel that balances weight savings with the ballistic performance the cartridge is known for. The full-length Picatinny top rail gives shooters flexibility to mount a forward-mounted scout scope or a conventional riflescope while the added M-LOK rail accepts bipods lights and other accessories that the original Weaver-railed Scout couldn t easily support. A three-position safety offers a fast familiar manual of arms and flip-up front and rear sights provide a reliable backup sighting system if the primary optic fails. The synthetic stock is finished in a durable black that resists the elements during extended field use. An integrated bipod keeps the rifle stable for field shooting positions without requiring an aftermarket accessory staying true to the original Scout Rifle concept of a self-contained ready-to-deploy platform. The rifle ships with two magazines giving shooters an immediate reload on hand without needing to purchase spares separately. At 6.60 lbs the Scout MK II remains light enough to carry comfortably over long distances while hunting or training. For shooters who want a genuine well-executed scout rifle built around Jeff Cooper s proven concept the Steyr Arms Scout MK II delivers a complete field-ready package.
