Keystone Crickett Features The Keystone Sporting Arms Crickett is a single shot bolt action design giving young shooters a simple easy-to-understand loading and firing sequence that builds good habits from the very first round downrange. A rebounding firing pin is automatically blocked from resting on the primer preventing accidental discharge unless the trigger is deliberately pulled which gives parents extra peace of mind during early range sessions. The adjustable rear peep sight paired with a fixed front post gives new shooters a straightforward sight picture to learn proper sight alignment without the complexity of an optic. At just 16.1 inches the stainless steel barrel keeps overall rifle length short and manageable for smaller shooters making the rifle easier to mount aim and control safely. The purple synthetic stock features Keystone s webbed pattern putting a modern spin on their classic solid color stock lineup while standing up well to the bumps and scrapes of a young shooter s first rifle. At an 11.5 length of pull and under 3 pounds total weight the rifle is sized specifically for youth shooters rather than scaled down from an adult platform so it fits smaller hands and shoulders without feeling awkward or overly heavy. Keystone backs the Crickett with a lifetime warranty giving parents confidence in its long-term durability through years of use as a first rifle is passed down or handed off to younger siblings. For families introducing a young shooter to their first .22 LR rifle this purple Crickett offers a safe properly sized and well-supported starting point that can grow a lifelong interest in the shooting sports.
