Keystone Precision 6061 Features The Keystone Precision 6061 centers on a black anodized aluminum receiver with an integrated Picatinny rail giving shooters a durable corrosion-resistant mounting surface for a red dot or scope right out of the box. The 16.12 inch carbon fiber barrel is threaded for a suppressor or muzzle device and is drilled and tapped to accept Crickett scope mounts adding flexibility beyond the rail-mounted optics options. A fixed front sight paired with an adjustable rear peep sight lets new shooters learn fundamentals with irons before adding glass. The trigger breaks at approximately 4.5 pounds a pull weight that helps a beginner build good trigger discipline without an overly light unforgiving trigger. The adjustable buffer tube style buttstock is skeletonized to save weight and finished with a matching carbon fiber cheek rest for a comfortable consistent cheek weld. Length of pull adjusts between roughly 11.5 and 14.5 inches depending on the stock length used letting the rifle grow with a young shooter over several seasons. An EZ Load feed ramp smooths the process of chambering a single .22 LR round reducing frustration for new shooters still learning proper loading technique. At just 3.5 pounds this rifle is easy for smaller shooters to handle making it a strong choice for youth shooting programs and first-rifle purchases alike.
