Athlon Midas TAC HD Features The Athlon Midas TAC HD places its etched APRS3 MIL reticle on the first focal plane meaning the ranging and holdover marks scale correctly with magnification whether a shooter is dialed to 6x or 24x which keeps holdovers accurate no matter the power setting chosen for the shot. High precision erector and turret systems translate 0.1 MRAD clicks into consistent repeatable movement and the hard zero stop lets a shooter return instantly to a known zero after dialing for elevation without hunting for the mark. The capped windage turret guards against snag induced drift in transit or in the field keeping windage settings exactly where they were left. Together these systems give a precision shooter confidence that every adjustment tracks true and returns true. HD glass paired with advanced fully multi-coated lenses and XPL coating pushes more light through the system for a bright high contrast image from dawn to dusk which matters most at the 24x top end where light loss is usually greatest. The one piece aircraft grade aluminum tube is machined for strength while keeping weight reasonable at 1.644 lbs and the assembly is argon purged to stay waterproof fogproof and shockproof through recoil and rough weather. A 30mm main tube offers a wide adjustment range for long distance work and 3.7 inches of eye relief keeps the shooter s brow clear of recoil impact on harder kicking rifles. For long range hunters and precision rifle shooters who need a rugged glass clear optic that tracks true the Midas TAC HD is engineered to perform for sale at GrabAGun.
