The Mechanic w/ Katana AW FASE Snowboard Bundle pairs a forgiving board with a binding that's built for more than a beginner needs on day one. The Mechanic's Contact Camber keeps the base flat and catch-free between the bindings, and its Tri-Radial sidecut smooths out the middle of every turn so a rider doesn't second-guess the next one. The Katana AW FASE binding brings mid-stiff flex and a fast-entry system that most beginner setups skip entirely, holding power through a turn well past where the board's own progression-friendly character stops. Instead of a binding a rider outgrows in a season, this one is already built for where they're headed. What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying:"I bought this setup when I was still linking my turns and honestly wondered if the binding was more than I needed. Six months later, riding harder and faster than I expected to be by spring, the binding's extra stiffness was finally doing real work instead of just sitting there. This is the setup that grew into itself instead of holding me back once I actually got good."
