Offered is a collectible E. Remington & Sons .38 Rimfire Pocket Revolver, serial number 4818, dating to approximately the mid-1870s. This early Remington design features the distinctive zig-zag cylinder, spur trigger, and compact ring-style grip typical of postCivil War pocket revolvers. The revolver retains a nickel finish with honest age wear and black grips in solid condition. Chambered in the obsolete .38 Rimfire, it is best suited for display or collecting. A great piece of 19th-century American firearms history and an excellent addition to any Remington or antique revolver collection.
