The VYCE by Really Right Stuff is an all purpose clamping mount specifically designed to both enhance the accuracy potential of a tripod mounting interface and securely hold user equipment when standard RRS custom mounts aren't compatible such as equipment without per-existing ports. The VYCE is completely ambidextrous, and utilizes inward angled jaws with textured rubber pads to wedge the equipment into the clamp for a superior grip. It also features double start threads which causes both jaws to move together to create a center of balance for products 1" to 3" wide. In addition, the bottom of the VYCE features two 3/8" mounting accessory ports for use with RRS quick-release plates.
