The Endura 4 Titanium Damascus honors of one of Spyderco's most popular designs by expressing it with an impressive combination of old-world craftsmanship and state-of-the-art materials. Its breathtaking Damascus-clad blade is made from D.P.S. 15-a unique blade material produced by Takefu Special Steel Company, Ltd. of Japan. It consists of a VG-10 stainless steel core sandwiched between two outer layers of Damascus steel. Each of the Damascus layers is composed of 15 layers of forge-welded steel, beautifully patterned and etched to reveal the detail of the structure. To complement its dramatic 31-layer blade, the handle scales of this knife are made from state-of-the-art 6AL-4V titanium.
