Made of clear shatterproof polyethylene these transfer pipets are easy to handle and offer an open-tip design. Flat bottoms help ensure a consistent bulb and these Samco pipets can be frozen in liquid nitrogen or be heat-sealed for storage. Production of these pipets is sanitized by gamma radiation and all handling purged and filled with a sterile saline solution. To be used with liquids first transfer the fluid completely from the pipet into a suitable container such as a conical tube or jar. Next dip the tip of the pipet into the filtered liquid and back into the pipet tip. Push down on the bulb to draw up a volume of fluid and then release the bulb. Graduations of the bulb are also more accurate making it easier to read the volume accurately.
