"Men's Nike® Mind 001: The Men's Nike Mind 001 is a first-of-its-kind pregame mule developed inside Nike's Mind Science Department, built for locker room downtime and pregame mental preparation. The slip-on, open-back construction makes it easy to pull on after taping up and quick to remove when it's time to lace into game shoes. Underfoot, a soft foam midsole provides comfortable support during pregame walks and extended standing, so the shoe feels supportive rather than fatiguing across longer stretches before competition. The defining feature of the Mind 001 is its 22-node sensory outsole - twenty-two oversized nodes that move up and down against the bottom of the foot as weight shifts, creating pressure variation that activates sensory areas of the brain. A stretchy fabric footbed sits over the node array, allowing the nodes to move freely while keeping the underfoot feel soft. The result is a mule that functions as a sensory tune-up during post-practice cooldowns and pregame routines, not just a casual slip-on. Half-size wearers should size up for the most comfortable fit.Why Our Fit Experts Love This Shoe""I wore the Mind 001 during a pregame locker room session before a long practice day. The nodes underfoot create a noticeable, focused sensation as you shift your weight - it's a different kind of footwear experience that actually makes you more aware of how you're standing and moving."" - Dave, Road Runner Sports Fit Expert, San Diego, CAWho It's Best ForThe Men's Nike Mind 001 is best for athletes, coaches, and recovery-minded movers who treat pregame mental preparation as seriously as their physical warm-up. It's ideal for locker room downtime, short pregame walks, post-practice cooldowns, and any moment where focused mental readiness matters. Half-size wearers should size up per Nike's recommendation. VIP Family members can take the Mind 001 for a 90-Day test drive with our Perfect Fit Promise."
