Product Description
Less drag in the water and cleaner depth readings are the goal of the Garmin Airmar P19 Tilted Element Thru-Hull Transducer, a low-profile plastic model made for cruising powerboats and sailboats up to 30 ft. Only 5 mm (approximately 0.2 inches) of the housing sits outside the hull, so it adds very little drag. The ceramic element inside is tilted to compensate for hull deadrise, which gives a vertical beam without a fairing and strong echo returns for accurate depth readings. Its large ceramics can sound depths up to 700 ft (206 m). A right angle cable exit keeps headroom low and protects the cable if the transducer is stepped on, and the included rubber washer lets you tighten the hull nut against an uneven hull surface. The housing is ABYC H-27 compliant. Features:• Sits nearly flush for minimal drag• Tilted element builds in deadrise compensation• Vertical beam without a fairing• Right angle cable exit saves headroom and protects the cable• Rubber washer helps seal against uneven hull surfaces• Available for depth only or depth and temperature• Optional temperature sensor• Plastic housingSpecs:• Brand: Garmin• Housing Material: Plastic• Element Tilt: Fixed 12 degrees• Hull Deadrise: 8 to 15 degrees• Maximum Depth: 700 ft (approximately 206 m)• Housing Protrusion: 5 mm (approximately 0.2 inches)• Cable Exit: Right angle• Boat Size: Up to 30 ft (approximately 9 m)• Measures: Depth only or depth and temperature, by version• Temperature Sensor: Optional• Compliance: ABYC H-27• Includes: Rubber washer• Applications: Cruising powerboats, sailboats Low-profile thru-hull Right angle cable exit Tilted element design | P19 Nylon 12Deg.
