Wilson Combat SFT9 Compact OR Features The Wilson Combat SFT9 starts life as a solid block of T6-7075 aluminum precision-machined on CNC centers into a rugged one-piece TRAK frame rather than a modular grip and frame assembly. That one-piece construction increases structural durability for high-round-count shooting while the reduced grip diameter and TRAK grip strap texture work together to improve recoil control and cut down on muzzle flip. The Commander-length slide is topped with the new Wilson RDS Cover Plate with rear sight and the 4.25 match-grade bushing-style barrel is hand-fitted in Berryville Arkansas for genuine accuracy. Every SFT9 is thoroughly function-tested to Wilson Combat s reliability and accuracy standards before it leaves the shop making it an easy platform to trust for sustained range use and everyday defensive carry. A thumb safety and flush-cut reverse-crown muzzle round out the control layout while a red fiber optic front sight paired with a U-notch rear sight keeps sight acquisition fast under stress. The wide cocking serrations and dovetail front sight preserve classic 1911 ergonomics while the slim Commander slide profile keeps the pistol concealment-friendly. The TRAK texture delivers a confident non-abrasive grip that resists snagging on cover garments so the SFT9 carries comfortably without sacrificing control. Finished in a durable Black Armor Tuff coating on both the frame and slide and shipping with two 15-round double-stack magazines the SFT9 in 9mm is available for sale at GrabAGun for shooters who want 1911 handling with modern capacity and reliability.
