TruGlo Tritium Pro Features The TruGlo Tritium Pro night sight is built for the Smith and Wesson Bodyguard 2.0 chambered in 9mm replacing the factory sights with a set that performs in any lighting condition the shooter encounters. During daylight hours the sights function like a standard white dot sight picture giving a familiar fast sight alignment for everyday carry and range use. Once light fades the tritium vials glow green with a white outline on the front sight continuing to provide a visible aiming reference without any external light source. Because tritium glows from its own radioactive decay rather than absorbed or battery-stored light the sights never need to be charged or recharged before use. The sight set is built on a steel frame finished in black giving it the strength to withstand the recoil impulse and holstering wear a daily carry pistol experiences. That steel construction also resists the corrosion that can affect sights exposed to sweat moisture and repeated handling over months of carry. For a concealed carry pistol like the Bodyguard 2.0 having a dependable sight picture in low light directly supports faster more accurate shot placement in a self-defense scenario.
