Kershaw Emerson CQC-8K LG Tanto Black is a folding knife featuring a 3.50-inch single-bevel tanto blade made from 8Cr14MoV stainless steel. The black-oxide coating protects the blade and reduces reflectivity. G10 handles ensure a secure grip, while a locking liner provides solid blade lock up.This knife includes a manual opening mechanism that can be accessed via a thumb disk or the patented Emerson wave-shaped feature. This unique design allows the knife to open automatically as it is withdrawn from the pocket. A small wave-shaped tab on the blade catches on the pocket seam, enabling instant deployment.
