Glock 19/23/38/43 Factory Slide Lock Spring Features The Glock 19/23/38/43 Factory Slide Lock Spring is made from new stainless steel in the factory full-width design built to the same specifications as the spring that originally came installed in these pistols. The slide lock spring provides the tension needed for the slide stop lever to engage and hold the slide open when the last round has been fired a function shooters rely on during reloads. A worn or weakened spring can cause the slide to fail to lock back or to feel inconsistent during operation so replacing it with a factory part restores dependable function. Fitting the Glock 19 23 38 and 43 models directly this spring is a precise match rather than a generic aftermarket substitute. Because it is sold new and built to Glock s own standards for material and workmanship this spring is a reliable choice for replacing a worn or damaged original. It also makes a practical spare part for an owner who wants to keep a Glock pistol in top operating condition without waiting on a parts order if a spring ever fails. Armorers servicing multiple pistols across the 19 23 38 and 43 platforms can stock this single part number to cover all four models. This small inexpensive component plays an outsized role in keeping a Glock pistol s slide lock functioning the way it was designed to.
