Daniel Defense Delta 5 Barrel Kit Features The Daniel Defense Delta 5 barrel kit is built around a cold hammer forged stainless steel barrel a manufacturing process known for producing accurate long-lasting barrels that resist throat erosion. Chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor the 24 inch barrel carries a 1:8 twist rate to stabilize the heavier bullet weights that make the cartridge popular for long-range shooting. Because the barrel extension is installed at the factory headspace is correctly set before the kit ever reaches the customer removing a common point of failure in aftermarket barrel swaps. The heavy Palma contour adds rigidity for improved accuracy and better heat management during extended strings of fire. Daniel Defense finishes the barrel in a cobalt Cerakote H-Series coating that protects the stainless steel from the elements while giving the rifle a distinctive appearance. The 5/8x24 threaded muzzle accepts a wide range of muzzle devices and installation takes just minutes with the included half inch barrel nut wrench no gunsmithing required. Removing the barreled action swapping the barrel and retorquing the barrel nut is all it takes to bring a Delta 5 rifle into a new caliber. For Delta 5 owners looking to expand their rifle s versatility without buying a second gun this barrel kit from Daniel Defense is available for sale at GrabAGun.
