CNC Firearms Colt 1911 Government Prohibition Features The CNC Firearms Colt 1911 Government Prohibition is built on the time-tested Colt 1911 Government platform chambered in .45 ACP and running a single-action-only trigger system that has defined the 1911 for over a century. Its 5 inch barrel delivers the classic 1911 balance and pointability that generations of shooters have relied on for both defensive and recreational use. The steel frame is finished in a deep blued coating serving as the canvas for custom scenic engraving that captures imagery evocative of the Prohibition era s bootleggers and underground empires. An 8-round magazine feeds the pistol and adjustable sights give the shooter a reliable repeatable sight picture. What sets this Prohibition edition apart is its handcrafted wood grip panels made from genuine antique whiskey barrels giving each pistol a unique grain and story tied directly to the era it honors. As a limited edition of only 300 consecutively numbered units each Prohibition pistol is individually identifiable adding to its appeal as a collector s piece rather than simply a shooter. CNC Firearms built this edition specifically to unite classic 1911 performance with custom craftsmanship and a uniquely American narrative in one package. For collectors and 1911 enthusiasts who want a numbered custom-engraved piece of American history this Colt 1911 Government Prohibition offers both function and story in equal measure.
