The Winchester Double X 12 Gauge 3.5" 15 Pellet 00 Buck is Winchester's flagship magnum buckshot load engineered for hunters who demand the tightest patterns and maximum downrange authority. Firing 15 copper-plated hard lead pellets at a scorching 1 450 fps this 3.5" magnum shell pushes the limits of what a 12-gauge buckshot load can deliver - offering three additional pellets over standard 3" 00 Buck loads for a decisive payload advantage in thick cover or at extended range.Winchester Double X 12 Gauge 3.5" 15 Pellet 00 Buck5 rounds per box | 50 boxes per case (250 rounds per case)Shot size: #00 Buck - 15 pellets per shellMuzzle velocity: 1 450 fpsCopper-plated hard lead shot for reduced deformation and tighter patternsGrex polymer-buffered payload to minimize pellet deformation under high setback forcesPattern-controlling wad for flat consistent long-range performanceCustom-blended powders for reliable high-velocity ignitionNon-corrosive primerRequires a shotgun rated for 3.5" shellsThe copper plating on each pellet resists deformation through the forcing cone and choke while the Grex buffering material fills the spaces between pellets to absorb setback stress - together producing the dense uniform patterns this load is known for. Effective applications include deer hunting predator control at distance and any situation where payload density and pattern consistency are critical. Note that the magnum 3.5" format generates significantly more recoil than standard 3" buckshot loads; a shotgun chambered and rated for 3.5" shells is required.
