The Trijicon RMR Type 2 Adjustable LED Red Dot Sight with a 6.5 MOA red dot reticle offers maximum user control and versatility in a battle-proven miniature reflex optic, making it an excellent choice for pistol-mounted applications in close-quarters engagements, concealed carry, duty use, or competition. This adjustable model provides eight brightness settings-including two night vision-compatible levels-and an automatic mode via a built-in sensor, with easy side-mounted buttons for manual adjustments, mode switching, power-down functionality, and button lockout to prevent unintended changes. The larger 6.5 MOA dot-the biggest available in Adjustable LED RMR models-delivers exceptionally fast target acquisition, ideal for quick shots at short ranges or shooters with vision challenges, while still supporting precise aiming without overwhelming the sight picture. Constructed from forged 7075-T6 aluminum with a patented housing that absorbs impacts and protects the lens, the RMR Type 2 ensures legendary durability, waterproofing to 66 feet (20 meters), and ruggedized electronics and battery contacts for reliable performance on slide-riding pistols under extreme conditions. Powered by a single CR2032 lithium battery, it delivers over 4 years of continuous use at mid-setting (setting 4 of 8), with parallax-free multi-coated tempered glass for true-color clarity, unlimited eye relief, and crisp dot presentation. Windage and elevation adjustments are precise at 1 MOA per click with 150 MOA total travel, and the compact size-approximately 1.8" length, 1.1" width, 1.0" height, and just 1.2 oz with battery-integrates seamlessly via adapter plates without altering firearm handling or draw speed. With its Type 2 enhancements for improved reliability, compatibility with night vision devices, and automatic fallback to sensor mode after 16.5 hours of manual inactivity, this optic combines Trijicon's combat-proven toughness with customizable illumination for any lighting condition. The 6.5 MOA variant excels in scenarios demanding rapid dot pickup and forgiveness in dynamic shooting, enhancing speed and confidence on defensive handguns, rifles, or carbines.
