Springfield Armory 1911 TRP .45 ACP 5" Black w/ Aimpoint COA Pistol The Springfield Armory 1911 TRP .45 ACP COA (PC9125LRCOA) is a hand-fit 5" railed TRP with an Aimpoint COA red dot already installed on a factory A-CUT slide. It is a classic .45 ACP fighting 1911 with a duty-grade optic. Optic included: the Aimpoint COA closed-emitter red dot comes pre-installed. A-CUT direct mount: the slide is milled for the Aimpoint A-CUT interface, so the optic sits low and holds zero. Custom-grade details: 20 LPI checkering, top slide serrations and a two-piece magwell. Railed frame: mount a weapon light on the integrated accessory rail. Hand-Fit TRP With a Factory Red Dot The TRP (Tactical Response Pistol) is hand-fit, with a forged slide and frame selected for fit, 20 LPI checkering, top slide serrations, a two-piece extended and flared magwell, an ambidextrous thumb safety and an accessory rail. The forged carbon steel slide and frame wear black Cerakote, the 5" forged stainless match-grade barrel has a 1:16 twist, and VZ Grips Hydra G-10 panels give a firm, non-abrasive purchase. COA refers to the Aimpoint COA optic, not a compensator. The A-CUT interface is a full-length dovetail with a front hook and rear wedge that moves recoil loads off the screws, and the low mount co-witnesses with the black front and rear irons. The optic is the Aimpoint COA, a closed-emitter red dot with a 3.5 MOA dot, 7075-T6 aluminum housing, 15x15mm lens, more than five years of rated runtime on one CR2032, and submersion rating to 25 meters. If you want a premium .45 ACP 1911 with the optic already sorted, order the TRP COA from BattleHawk Armory and have it shipped to your local FFL.
