Springfield ArmoryA(R) has designed a dedicated version of their M1A(TM) Scout Squad rifle to comply with the specific rules governing Empire State shooters. Featuring an indestructible black composite stock, a GI 0.0690" aperture rear sight that is easily adjustable without tools, and the same Springfield Armory quality we have rightfully come to expect, this rifle projects serious .30-caliber horsepower in a package that tips the scales at less than 9 lbs. 18" BARREL The 18" carbon steel barrel is long enough for proper long-range accuracy while remaining sufficiently short for close quarters work. FORWARD SCOUT-STYLE PICATINNY RAIL The NY-compliant M1A(TM) Scout Squad rifle features a forward scout-style optics mount to maximize the gun's natural maneuverability. 2-STAGE NM TUNED TRIGGER The inclusion of a two-stage National Match trigger on this close to mid-range rifle optimizes its capabilities at all reasonable ranges.
