Springfield Armory Waypoint 2020 7mm PRC 24" Carbon Fiber Barrel Adjustable Stock Evergreen Camo Rifle The Springfield Armory Model 2020 Waypoint in 7mm PRC is a lightweight, custom-grade hunting rifle for flat-shooting mountain hunts for sheep, elk and mule deer. It pairs a 24" carbon fiber barrel with a hand-laid AG Composites carbon fiber stock in Evergreen camo and a 3-axis adjustable cheek comb, so you can set your eye line to the scope you run. Springfield backs every one with a .75 MOA accuracy guarantee, and BattleHawk Armory ships it with the factory rifle case and magazine. Proven accuracy: Springfield guarantees .75 MOA from the Model 2020 action and barrel. Light to carry: the carbon fiber barrel and 100% carbon fiber stock keep the rifle at 8 lbs 2 oz. Fits the shooter: the hybrid-profile stock has a 3-axis adjustable cheek comb, M-LOK slots and QD cups. Crisp trigger: a TriggerTech single-stage trigger adjusts from 2.5 to 5 lbs. Less recoil: a removable SA Radial muzzle brake comes installed. Built Around the Model 2020 Action The heart of the Waypoint is Springfield's Model 2020 stainless steel action, finished in Mil-Spec Green Cerakote. The fluted 4140 tool steel bolt has dual locking lugs and rides in EDM-cut raceways for smooth, repeatable lockup. An optimized extraction cam keeps it running in rough weather, and dual cocking cams make the bolt lift easy. A factory Picatinny mount is installed, and it uses the common Remington 700 long-action screw pattern, so finding rings or a base is easy. The stock comes from AG Composites. It's hand-laid from 100% carbon fiber, pillar bedded to the action, and finished in Springfield's Evergreen camo. The 3-axis adjustable comb lets you dial in cheek height and position. Five QD sling mounts and M-LOK slots give you room for a bipod, sling or tripod adapter. The 24-inch carbon fiber barrel has a 1:8 twist and wears a removable SA Radial muzzle brake to tame recoil and help you spot your own hits. For 7mm PRC shooters who want a light rifle that still shoots like a custom build, the Waypoint is a strong choice at BattleHawk Armory.
