Why Buy the Savage 110 Core Tactical Coyote Tan Stock AccuFit V2 Interchangeable Grip Modules M-Lok Panels with Integral ARCA Rail Exclusive LimbSaver Recoil Pad With 50% Recoil Reduction Platinum Cerakoted Barreled Action Black Jeweled Bolt Body w/ Threaded Bolt Handle User-adjustable AccuTrigger Medium Contour Barrels w/Straight Fluting Threaded Barrel Barrel and Accuracy The 16.5-inch barrel is carbon steel in a medium threaded contour with a platinum cerakote finish. Its 1:8 twist rate is set up to stabilize the bullet weights commonly loaded in 300 AAC Blackout, which matters for consistent groups. Fluting (straight) removes steel from the barrel to cut weight and add surface area for cooling. The muzzle is threaded 5/8x24, so you can add a suppressor or muzzle device. AccuTrigger and Action The user-adjustable AccuTrigger lets you set the pull weight yourself from 1.5 lbs to 4 lbs, and its AccuRelease blade helps keep it from firing unless it is pulled deliberately. A crisp, light break is one of the easiest ways to shoot smaller groups. It feeds from a detachable box magazine that holds 10 rounds, with an ambidextrous magazine release. The bolt release is on the side. The receiver is carbon steel with a platinum cerakote finish. Stock and Fit The stock is synthetic in Coyote Tan (Beavertail with Integral ARCA Rail style). AccuFit lets you change length of pull and comb height with included inserts, so the rifle fits your build and lines your eye up behind the scope. The AccuStock rail system beds the action along its full length for consistent accuracy shot to shot. Length of pull is 12.75 to 13.75. A limbsaver recoil pad at the butt helps manage recoil. 2 sling studs let you add a sling or bipod. Optics and Sights The receiver comes with a one-piece 20 MOA scope rail for mounting the optic of your choice. Who the Savage 110 Core Tactical Is For This 300 AAC Blackout rifle is a good fit for competition, big game hunting and long range precision. The 16.5-inch barrel keeps it handy in the field. About the 300 AAC Blackout Chambering 300 AAC Blackout is a centerfire cartridge with factory ammunition available from all of the major makers. Bullet choice matters more than anything else for clean, ethical results, so pick a bullet built for the game or target you plan to shoot, then confirm your zero at the distance you expect to use it. Shooting groups with two or three different loads is the quickest way to find the most accurate one for your barrel. Getting It Range Ready Read the owner manual that comes with the rifle before handling it, and confirm it is unloaded every time you pick it up. Start your first session at a short distance to get on paper, then move back in steps while you refine your zero or point of aim. Shoot from a stable rest, let the barrel cool between strings, and write down the load, distance and group size so you can repeat your results later in the season. Care and Cleaning Before the first trip to the range, clean the bore and chamber to remove any preservative from the factory, then check that all screws are snug. After shooting, run a cleaning rod with a patch and solvent through the bore from the chamber end, follow with dry patches, and wipe exterior metal with a light coat of oil. Store the rifle unloaded in a dry, secure place, ideally a safe with a dehumidifier, and keep ammunition stored separately.
