The Kimber 1911 DS Warrior 10mm pistol upholds Kimber's legendary 45+ year tradition of crafting exceptional American-made 1911s, now reimagined with high-capacity double-stack design and powerful 10mm Auto performance for hunters, backcountry defense, and tactical applications. This full-size model features a robust stainless steel frame and slide finished in durable KimPro Black, delivering a balanced weight of just 33 oz unloaded and exceptional recoil management thanks to the 20.0 lb recoil spring and Mil-Spec guide rod. The 5-inch stainless steel barrel with bushing and deep crown, combined with a 1:16" left-hand twist rate, provides outstanding accuracy and velocity from the potent 10mm cartridge, while the included magazines-one 15-round and one 18-round-offer substantial capacity without sacrificing the classic 1911 feel. Optics-ready from the factory with a TAG cover plate featuring a fixed rear sight and a standard C&H RMR mounting plate included, the DS Warrior allows seamless integration of red dot sights for rapid target engagement in any lighting condition. Premium features include a tritium night front sight for low-light reliability, ambidextrous safety, front and rear slide serrations, Picatinny accessory rail, internal extractor, and the crisp GT Performance Trigger set at approximately 4.0-5.0 lbs for precise control. The lightweight carbon fiber-infused grip module enhances ergonomics and reduces felt weight, providing superior texture and control during rapid fire or extended carry. Individually hand-fitted to Kimber's exacting standards and unmatched by imported high-capacity 1911 alternatives, this pistol combines timeless reliability, legendary accuracy, and modern enhancements in a package backed by Kimber's limited lifetime warranty.
