The Kimber Next Gen 1911 in .45 ACP merges timeless 1911 heritage with 21st-century enhancements, offering shooters a premium full-size pistol that's as reliable as it is refined. Crafted from stainless steel and chambered in the legendary .45 ACP, this modernized platform comes optics-ready from the factory-engineered for shooters who want the tradition of a 1911 with the performance and adaptability today's market demands. At its core, the Next Gen 1911 remains loyal to the proven 5" Government-length format-but Kimber has added meaningful upgrades where they count. The optics-ready slide (RMR footprint) makes it red-dot compatible out of the box, while the external extractor enhances reliability without compromising the clean lines of the pistol. The GT Series trigger delivers a crisp, clean break around 4-5 pounds, and ambidextrous thumb safeies provide intuitive control for left- and right-handed shooters alike. Paired with a match-grade, ramped barrel and aggressive front strap checkering, the Next Gen is equally at home on the range or riding along as a high-performance carry option.
