Solar Failsafe technology supplements battery power, while the forward-facing light sensor automatically adjusts reticle brightness to changing conditions. Shake Awake activates the optic through motion, and Lockout Mode helps prevent unintended adjustments. A side-loading CR1620 battery allows replacement without removing the optic, while the hard-anodized 7075-T6 aluminum housing is built to withstand demanding use.
