Dan Wesson DWX Compact Optics Ready 9mm 4" Black Pistol The Dan Wesson DWX Compact blends a 1911-style single-action trigger with the grip angle of the CZ 75 Compact. This 10-round version has an optics-ready slide, an aluminum frame and a 4" match-grade barrel. Why Buy It Crisp single-action trigger with manual thumb safety 4" match-grade, bushingless barrel with linkless locked breech Optics-ready slide; cover plate and fixed rear sight included Tritium front sight for low light Lightweight aluminum frame, DLC slide and slim Henning aluminum grips Overview The DWX family came out of CZ and Dan Wesson working together. The Compact keeps the CZ 75 Compact grip geometry and magazine body, then adds a single-action fire-control system that will feel familiar to any 1911 shooter. Takedown works through the slide stop, CZ 75 style, and the bushingless barrel pulls out as easily as a P-10's. At about 28.5 oz on an anodized aluminum frame, it is light enough to carry and still heavy enough to shoot flat. It accepts many standard 1911 parts, so gunsmiths and competitors can tune it further. Optic plates are sold separately. This 10-round model is for buyers in capacity-restricted states or anyone who wants it, and BattleHawk Armory ships it to your FFL.
