Benjamin Armada, .22 Caliber, Air RifleThe Benjamin Armada is an air rifle in .22 from Crosman.1000 FPS with 32 foot pounds of energy, 30 shots per fillOrder the Benjamin Armada today.Key FeaturesThe Armada is a PCP Powered, Multi-Shot Bolt Action Hunting Air Rifle with M-Lok Interface, 4-16x50 Scope and BipodWho It Is ForAn air rifle like this is a practical way to build marksmanship skills at home or on a backyard range where local rules allow, to practice trigger control and follow-through at low cost per shot, and, depending on caliber and power, to take on pest control where legal. How the Powerplant WorksPre-charged pneumatic (PCP) airguns store high-pressure air in an onboard reservoir that you fill from a hand pump, compressor or scuba/carbon tank. Because the air is stored before the shot, the gun is recoilless and very consistent, which is why PCPs are popular for accurate pest control and target work.About the CaliberThe .22 caliber (5.5 mm) fires heavier pellets than .177. They carry more energy and hit harder at a given velocity, which is why .22 is a popular choice for small game and pest control where legal.Specifications ExplainedThe barrel is listed as Steel.Trigger: Two Stage. A predictable trigger is one of the biggest factors in accurate shooting. For aiming, the manufacturer lists None. Check the rail type before buying rings or a dot sight. The safety is listed as Lever. Learn how it works from the owner's manual before loading.Getting Started and CareBefore the first session, read the owner's manual, check that the gun is unloaded, and set up a safe backstop or pellet trap. Shoot from a rest to confirm where the gun hits at your usual distance, then adjust the sights or scope.Try several brands and weights of quality .22 pellets of the type the manufacturer lists. Airguns often prefer one pellet over another, and finding it is the quickest way to tighter groups.Fill only to the pressure the manufacturer lists, use dry filtered air, and check the gauge before each session. Keep the fill probe and fill port clean, and store the rifle with some pressure in the reservoir as the owner's manual directs. What You Will Want With ItEye protection for the shooter and anyone nearbyA pellet or BB trap rated for the gun's power, or a safe backstopPaper targets or reactive targetsA hand pump, compressor or air tank with the right fill fittingA case or sling for transportSafety and Local LawsTreat every airgun as if it were loaded, keep the muzzle pointed in a safe direction, and keep your finger off the trigger until you're ready to shoot.
