Manufactured in January 1967, this Remington 552 is in very good condition. Right side wood stock has some epoxy or resin of some sort. Unsure if something melted or if it was done on purpose by previous owner. Forestock also has a similar residue on both sides. It feels rough to the touch. Some sanding should get everything off. Barrel is clean, clear and has a good bore. Overall the Speedmaster looks great for its age. A bit of elbow grease and this baby will shine. Versatile ammo, the Speedmaster takes 22 S/L/LR. Built in shell deflector. Perfect for small game hunting, plinking and pest control. All information is correct to the best of our knowledge. Before making a purchase do your own due diligence.
