Remington Model 700 BDL bolt-action rifle chambered in 8mm Remington Magnum, featuring a 24-inch blued barrel, checkered walnut stock with raised cheekpiece, black recoil pad, adjustable rear sight, hoodless front sight, and hinged magazine floorplate. Equipped with scope rings; no scope included. The barrel is marked with the Remington date code "WQ," indicating August 1978, the introductory year of the 8mm Remington Magnum cartridge. This appears to be an early production example of Remington's classic Model 700 BDL sporting rifle. Very good overall condition, retaining strong bluing and an attractive glossy walnut finish. The stock displays minor handling marks and light scratches consistent with age and use. Metal surfaces show light cosmetic wear. Bore is excellent with strong rifling.
