The CZ 75 D PCR Compact 50th Anniversary Elite (frequently mislabeled or co-listed in retail databases as the 75th Anniversary edition) is a special commemorative 9mm pistol released to celebrate the 50-year milestone (1975-2025) of the iconic CZ 75 platform. The confusion stems from specific distributor data feeds that blend "50th Anniversary" (referencing the pistol) and "75th Anniversary" (referencing a previous anniversary of the eska zbrojovka company itself). Overview & Core Specifications The pistol is built on the highly popular "PCR" (Police Czech Republic) platform. It offers a lighter alternative to the traditional all-steel CZ 75 variants by utilizing an aluminum frame. * Caliber: 9mm Luger * Barrel Length: 3.75 inches * Capacity: Available in 15+1 or 10+1 rounds * Frame: Forged 7075-T6 aluminum alloy frame, making it roughly 1/4 pound (4 oz) lighter than the steel compact model. * Action: Double-Action/Single-Action (DA/SA) with a mechanical decocking lever instead of a manual safety. * Finish: Black Polycoat finish paired with black rubberized palm-swell grips. Special Anniversary Features * Commemorative Markings: The slide features unique special-edition anniversary engraving to honor five decades of production. * Carry-Friendly Accoutrements: Outfitted with fixed, snag-free three-dot sights meant for easy draw and low-profile concealment. * Tactical Features: Includes front and rear canted slide serrations, a loaded chamber indicator, and serrated front/back straps for an enhanced grip texture. Historical Note on True 75th Anniversary Models If you are looking for an actual 75th Anniversary Edition, CZ released a highly collectible, polished stainless/gloss blued full-size CZ 75 B back in 2011 to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the founding of the eska zbrojovka factory (1936-2011). Those specific company anniversary pistols featured hand-engraving, special wood panels, or unique serial markings limiting them to small production runs globally. As is in photos shown
