The Aero Precision M4E1 pistol is a compact firearm based on the AR-platform design and manufactured by Aero Precision. The M4E1 series is recognized for its modernized receiver design and modular appearance, combining familiar AR-pattern characteristics with proprietary design elements. Depending on the specific configuration, an M4E1 pistol may feature a short barrel, a free-float handguard, an adjustable brace or other rear configuration where legally permitted, and a variety of accessory mounting options. The M4E1 receiver incorporates several design features intended to simplify assembly and provide a distinctive appearance compared with traditional AR-15 receivers. Its controls and general layout are broadly familiar to users of AR-pattern firearms. Configurations can vary considerably, including differences in barrel length, caliber, handguard style, muzzle device, furniture, and other components. Because firearm laws and classifications differ by jurisdiction, the legal definition and requirements applicable to an M4E1 pistol can depend on its exact configuration and location. In the United States, federal, state, and local regulations may also change over time, so owners or prospective owners should verify current requirements with appropriate official authorities. Overall, the Aero Precision M4E1 pistol is best described as a compact, AR-pattern firearm emphasizing modularity and a modern receiver design. Its specific characteristics depend on the particular factory model or configuration being discussed. Has a hard case and optic, does not come with mag nss
