What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying:"I wore the Skychaser AX5 GTX through a soaked canyon trail and was impressed-dry socks at the end, great grip on slick granite, and zero break-in time. Super dependable shoe for technical day hikes."We lean on the Skychaser AX5 GTX Hiking Shoe when the weather is moody and the trail unforgiving. This rugged hiking shoe is built for movement-fast, light, and confident. The abrasion-resistant ripstop upper keeps things durable without weighing us down, while the GORE-TEX ePE membrane fends off puddles, rain, and runoff to keep our feet dry. Underfoot, the Lightmotion midsole cushions long days on the move, and the Continental rubber outsole bites into any terrain with unshakable grip. Designed with a 360-degree wrap fit and updated lugs for added control, this shoe is our go-to for alpine missions, shoulder season treks, or high-mileage hikes where comfort and waterproofing are a must.
