The Springfield Armory 1911 Mil-Spec Stainless offers an entry-level, duty-ready defensive platform that pays direct homage to the classic military-issue sidearm while adding modern precision engineering. Built entirely on a rugged forged stainless steel frame and slide, this full-size Government model utilizes a 5-inch match-grade stainless barrel to deliver premium mechanical accuracy. It stays deeply true to its G. I. roots by showcasing a traditional arched mainspring housing, short military-style combat trigger, and a classic spurred hammer. Equipped with a lowered and flared ejection port to promote ultra-reliable cycling, the PBD9151L 1911 model updates the sight picture with high-visibility fixed combat 3-dot sights. It ships in a double-zippered soft storage case with checkered wood composite grips and one 7-round factory steel magazine.
