"Women's Nike® Mind 001: The Women's Nike Mind 001 is a pregame mule developed inside Nike's Mind Science Department for athletes and performers who treat mental readiness as part of their preparation. Twenty-two oversized nodes built into the outsole press against the bottom of the foot with each shift of weight, engaging sensory areas of the brain in a way that's intended to keep the wearer grounded and present before competition. A soft foam midsole sits between the node array and the foot so the sensory effect feels deliberate rather than uncomfortable, which means the shoe can be worn through a full pregame routine without fatigue. The slip-on mule construction makes it easy to slide on during locker room time and step out of when it's time to transition into competition footwear. The stretchy fabric footbed gives the nodes room to move while still feeling soft against the skin, balancing sensory stimulation with everyday comfort. Open-back mule construction keeps the entry and exit effortless - a practical detail for court warm-ups, studio shake-outs, and post-training recovery. The Mind 001 sits in a category of its own: not a performance trainer, not a standard recovery slide, but a tool built for the mental side of pregame prep. Sizing runs true, though Nike recommends sizing up for half sizes. Why Our Fit Experts Love This Shoe""I slipped these on before a long shift and immediately noticed the nodes underfoot - it's a subtle but distinct sensation that keeps you aware and focused. The foam keeps it from feeling aggressive, so I wore them through my entire warm-up without any discomfort."" - Sawyer, Road Runner Sports Fit Expert, Wilmette ILWho It's Best ForThe Women's Nike Mind 001 is best for athletes, performers, and active individuals who incorporate intentional pregame prep into their routine - whether that's a court warm-up, a studio shake-out, short walks, or quiet pre-competition focus time. It works well as a recovery day shoe and a locker room staple for anyone who values the mental side of athletic preparation. If you typically wear a half size, Nike recommends sizing up for the most comfortable fit. VIP Family members can take the Mind 001 for a 90-Day test drive with our Perfect Fit Promise."
