The Roadsofa is crafted specifically for riders that love to ride all day. It is the ultimate long-distance touring seat for touring models. Gelcore Technology is a guarded company secret that no other manufacturer can duplicate. It is formulated and manufactured in house and is engineered to dampen, divert, and deflect energy through a mechanical process resulting in a smooth, therapeutic ride. Saddlemen utilizes the best material, Saddlehyde, which provides the optimum combination of good looks, comfort and durability. It has a luxurious look and feel due to its leather grain and soft touch feel and has a built-in compliance, or stretch, that enhances the gel and foam characteristics for increased comfort. Years of study, combined with practical experience, has led to the formulation of Saddlemen's Progressive Density Foam. The chemical make-up and raw material volume have been carefully tuned to create a foam pour that is balanced between support and compliance. Varied cell sizes and types are encapsulated in the foam by an element-resistant skin that seals the foam from water and enhances the seat's durability as well as comfort. Classic pillow top design SaddleGel in front and rear reduces tailbone pressure and increases circulation and comfort for both driver and passenger Tall lumbar support and wide driver saddle-support the back and legs for superior comfort, while the streamlined nose improves the rider's reach to the ground The split-cushion design separates the seating surface from the lumbar support, reducing tailbone and back pressure for maximum long-range comfort Ventilated soft upholstery seating material provides the most luxurious look and ride Optional rider backrest, Extended reach, and heat available for most models Hi/low seat heaters provide warmth, comfort, and the convenience that today's riders demand Built-in backrest that eliminates additional brackets that mount to the fender Extended reach seating position moves the rider 2" further back
