S&S raised the bar for bolt on performance accesorries and the Tuned Induction Air Cleaner Kits are one of many kits they have to offer for riders. This is a dual runner or 2-into-1 intake system easily built to get the most out of your air intake system. Instead of being installed directly to a dual bore throttle body, the runner of the single bore induction join together in a smooth enhancing curve. The air filter area alone is just about two times of the S&S Teardrop air cleaner kit, just confirming that air flow is not an issue with this kit what so ever. The kit is offered in a show chrome or black finish. The heart of the single bore tuned induction system is the dual runner, two-into-one intake The tuned runners are very similar in appearance to the original dual runner intake for the now obsolete dual bore induction system, but the design allows for more flexibility Instead of bolting directly to a throttle body the runners of the single bore induction join together in a smooth, flow enhancing curve and the unit bolts to an adaptor bracket Like the VFI dual tuned runner system, the single bore tuned runner delivers a healthy boost in midrange torque-just what a street rider needs Peak horsepower is also increased The tuned runner system makes even more horsepower than an S&S teardrop air cleaner Performance increases are across the board for stock and big inch engines alike Complete kit; Note: On models with fairing lowers, glove box may need to be removed and discarded for installation
