G. Loomis Popping Fishing Rod PR844S GLX is designed for redfish and permit, this is, without a doubt the most sensitive, lightweight, all around flats spinning rod made. It works well for a number of different species. It's a good choice for shrimp, minnows and small crabs or for casting spoons and light jigs. It's a fast action rod, but leans towards moderate a bit, making it a good rod to wear down the larger fish quickly. GLX makes it extremely light and sensitive. It's doubles nicely for finesse fishing with tubes, small worms and jerkbaits for clear water bass.SPECIFICATIONSModel Number: PR844S GLXRod Length (FT): 7'0'' Rod Handle: ARod Lure Weight: 1/4-5/8Rod Pieces: 1Rod Line Weight: 8-17 lbRod Action (US): Fast
