One of the TRG 42A1&';s more notable features is its stock. It utilizes a skeletonized design and can be folded to provide a more convenient storage and transportation option. The stock can be finely tuned to the user&';s preferred length of pull and cheek height with the push of a button, and a Picatinny rail on the underside can be used with a monopod or the supplied polymer grip. In terms of customization, the TRG 42A1 features top-mounted Picatinny rails on the receiver and forend, which provide plenty of rail space for an optic of choice, as well as clip-on night vision and thermal devices. The forend is also outfitted with multiple M-LOK cut-outs for use with a bipod, and help reduces weight.
