The Scamp was designed to bring new riders into the wonderful world of cycling. Giro takes helmet safety very seriously, whether it’s at the top of the mountain with their World Cup-winning Downhill MTB helmets, or at the beginning of the driveway with their kids’ helmets. Every helmet is purpose-built to meet the specific demands of each discipline. So what are the demands of an entry-level kids helmet? Provide safety, fit well, and look super cool. The Scamp is no slouch and delivers on all fronts. Its EPS foam liner is CPSC-certified while being lightweight and featuring 8 vents to keep little noggins cool. The polycarbonate shell comes in a variety of fun colors and the Roc Loc Jr. fit system with pinch-guard buckle ensures easy and comfortable fitment without the worry of pinched chins and the resulting mild disdain towards safety that can last a lifetime.
